Elisabeth has taken up photography! And we're so glad! Annabelle wanted a redo of her senior photos because she didn't love the ones we had done in Hawaii (neither did I; the lighting was no bueno). Elisabeth did senior photos for Annabelle and her friend Becca, and then she set up the camera and had Annabelle's friend Mia snap a couple family photos for us.
We brought Penny too, hoping to get some good family shots with her, but she's a terrible photo client. She doesn't look at the camera when we ask her to, or sit still for very long and all and she's constantly pulling us towards other dogs or birds etc. So we got one or two with her and then we decided not to worry about it.
Our stake put together a temple to temple walk for our youth with water stations along the way. The kids started walking around 530am from the Draper temple and they ended at the Jordan River Temple. It was around 9 miles. Nora participated (Jane had to work and Annabelle had a soccer game during that time...Nora had a soccer game later that day which she was tired for) and some of her friends went which was nice for her. Scott and I had a temple appointment that morning at JRT doing initiatory, so we were able to walk out and greet her at the end as she came in which was fun. I loved this picture of Christ they had at the end with this message, "walk with me". Afterwards they were all given these cute temple sugar cookies. I ate one because they forced me to take one (they had SO many) and I wasn't too sad about it since I love sugar cookies. And frosting.
