Whew! Weddings are A LOT of work! And that's an understatement! I've lost a lot of sleep over the past month or so as the date drew nearer...I would wake up in the middle of the night and remember something I needed to do, and then I'd write it down, and then would come another, and another, or I'd start thinking on one of those things elaborately and no matter how many times I tried to not think, or to picture blackness in my mind to help clear it, I couldn't and I'd inevitably be up for hours.
We had a rehearsal dinner for family that was in town, and a couple of our closest family friends on Monday night, the day before the wedding. We had all of Scott's family staying with us at the house, plus Bella stayed with us a couple of those nights too, so 10 extras staying in our home during the wedding festivities. The house was a mess and chaos, but it all worked out. I was sad not to have my siblings staying with us, but we couldn't fit everyone. So next time we'll have to switch. We held the dinner at our clubhouse and Sheryl helped me a ton with that, as well as my siblings and Elisa Ludwig who cooked the rice and tortillas. I also borrowed lots of chairs from several people and tablecloths. The Hepworths were also a huge help and Haley is talented and has an eye for decorating and putting on an event! For record keeping purposes: I bought the disposable silverware on amazon, most of the decorations came from Britney Wynn, the beverage dispensers were from the relief society, I got all the flowers from trader joes. We had cafe rio style burritos and salad for dinner. Elisabeth wanted family members to give speeches, so I nominated Scott and Annabelle gave one too, and then so did Tyler (Taysons' dad) and his brother Peyton. It all went well and I appreciated all the help from so many people.
Tuesday morning we met at the CR Hamilton Event Center around 930am. I was a few minutes late and forgot to tell family not to bring vehicles on the sidewalk to unload, so we lost our deposit (even though they didn't unload, they just were parked there for a few minutes until I arrived and I immediately went to them and asked them to move once I got there, but it was too late...the facility has cameras and a picture was already taken. Oh well. It was still a great price, even with the deposit lost.
We spent hours getting ready for the wedding ceremony and we had so much help! Brittney Wynn last minute asked if she could come help (she's a wedding planner that's a friend of ours from soccer, and I was borrowing some of her decorations but didn't expect her to help us any more than that) which was nice. She was there all during set up, for the ceremony, she stayed to help setup for the reception and then she was there til almost the end of the reception..during the reception she made sure things were running smoothly and food and drinks were well stocked. Hepworths and my siblings and Sher also helped a ton.
We got Christmas trees from Home Depot, the day after Christmas, for free! We got pizzas and brought them back for everyone for lunch since we were there for so long. 
I loved our 'missing loved ones' shrine area. Becca made this sign about those we love who have passed on but are still with us. It was really important to me to have this here with pictures of my parents. Elisabeth also wanted a picture with grandma sugar and then Haley added a few from her family as well.
Haley printed out these Hers, His and Our story posters. So cute! And those are Brittney's golden stands.
The wedding ceremony began at 430pm and it was beautiful. Our bishop Christensen performed it. There was lots of family there and some close friends. I was surprised and delighted to see my aunt and uncle Fred and LuAnn made it out!
In between the ceremony and the reception we went outside to take pictures. We made sure we included Charles in them (we got a 6 foot cardboard cutout).
We loved her photographer, Cambrie. I believe Elisabeth knew her from high school.
The bridesmaids looked lovely in there baby blue dresses.

After pictures we set up for the reception while Lis and Tays ran to Costa Vida; Scott and I had them pick up food for us too. The kids all went to raising canes.
Angelo ran the hot chocolate bar for us since he's a professional. Again, we were so grateful for all the help!
We got old fashioned and maple donuts from Peterson's, and the cake from there as well. We got 300 donuts for $275, which is not bad! We had sent out 400 invites, and it was about 150 donuts too many! We had SO many donuts leftover! I ended up posting about the leftovers on my Relief Society groupme app and we got rid of most of them.
Haley had a friend do these coloring pages of Elisabeth and Tayson which I thought was a cute idea. We also had lots of games out for people to take to their tables and play.
We got a plain white buttercream cake, 8 inch rounds, 3 layers with a scalloped edge and no border, and then I added flowers and greenery from Trader Joes and a cake topper that said, "The Hepworths" in gold from Amazon. The cake was $30 from Petersons Bakery and the topper was less than $10, so it was a great deal.
The cake feeding was hilarious! They got each other good!
After cake they played a get to know the bride and groom game where they were asked questions by Annabelle and Peyton about who does what in the relationship and they use either the bride or grooms shoe to answer. A lot of their answers matched up, but we had a couple like this where they put up different shoes.
After the game there was a father and bride dance, and then we asked all the dads and daughters to join in. Then there was a mom and groom dance and they broke out into this whole choreographed routine with the entire family! It was so fun!
My old BYU roommate, April, came! I love seeing my roomies! Natalie came with her family to the next reception in Pocatello since that's where they live; and we got to stay with them overnight which was so fun.
We had a great turn out and everything went beautifully. People have asked how I feel about Elisabeth getting married and losing a daughter...I always respond with, 'I didn't lose a daughter, we just gained a son!' And I really couldn't be happier. We love these two! Here are some pictures from the Idaho reception which was held on Thursday January 8th(they honeymooned in St George).
